On September 11, the Working Group of the "Yüksəliş” (Ascent) competition held another webinar with the participation of about 450 people. Mikayil Jabbarov, a member of the Board of Managing Directors, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, made a presentation on the topic "Managing Leader and Practice".
Mikayil Jabbarov informed about the importance of the "Ascent" project, noting that the competition plays an important role in identifying executives with a high level of managerial qualities, knowledge and abilities, and creating a human resource base.
The Minister shared his opinion related to the requirements for managing leaders and factors important for the development of managerial skills. The webinar also provided information about the problems that managers face in practice, the goals set in various institutions, the methods used to achieve those goals, and the positive results obtained through the relevant experience. The useful results of the application of new approaches, modern tools used to ensure transparency, solutions based on innovative approaches, mechanisms used for more efficient use of existing resources, the formation of a professional approach to achieving effective results in a wide range of systems, as well as features of crisis management were explained during the webinar. It was emphasized that the combination of knowledge, experience and teamwork is the core philosophy of managers' success stories and achievements. Over time, new requirements arise at the labor market and new images are formed for managers. Each manager determines the formula of how to become a managing leader independently, because everyone has their own individual approach and their own principles in work. This formula is based on the philosophy of each manager's own success story.
The webinar was held in the format of mutual discussion with the participants, answers were given to the questions of the listeners.
It is worth noting that the Working Group intends to organize webinars and presentations of managing directors on a regular basis.
"Yüksəliş" (Ascent) competition was launched by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated July 26, 2019 to identify and support potential leaders with high level of intellectual abilities and management qualities, and to establish a human resources database in the country.
