A delegation of business representatives from the “Union of Builders” of Altai Krai of the Russian Federation visited the Sumgayit Industrial Park.

A meeting was held at the Sumgayit Industrial Park, managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy, with the delegation representing the “Union of Builders” of Altai Krai of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Agency's Board, Agil Azizov, provided information on the work carried out in the country related to economic diversification, development of the non-oil and gas sector, and digitalization of the economy, as well as on the favorable business and investment climate created. The incentives and exemptions applied in industrial zones, including industrial parks operating in the liberated territories, and the provision of infrastructure were highlighted.

The parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the construction sector and exchange of experience. Business representatives from Altai Krai were invited to benefit from the existing business opportunities in the Sumgayit Industrial Park.

The delegation also familiarized themselves with the activities of the park’s residents, “Sika” LLC and “Azerfloat” CJSC.
