“Baku International Tobacco” LLC has been granted resident status at the “Araz Valley Economic Zone” Industrial Park, managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The new resident plans to implement a tobacco products manufacturing project within the industrial park. Under the project, which has an investment value of AZN 47 million, the manufactured products are intended not only for the domestic market, but also for export.

It should be noted that resident status has so far been granted to 20 business entities, while 3 entrepreneurs have received non-resident status at the “Araz Valley Economic Zone” Industrial Park. To date, entrepreneurs have invested more than AZN 48.3 million in projects implemented within the industrial park, creating over 130 jobs.
