As part of her visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Bulgarian President Iliana Yotova visited Sumgayit Industrial Park, which operates under the management of the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) subordinated to the Ministry of Economy.

Deputy Minister of Economy Azer Bayramov and Chairman of the Board of EZDA Seymur Adigozalov briefed the guests on the modern infrastructure created for residents within the industrial zones managed by the Agency, ongoing projects, and products manufactured at the enterprises. It was noted that favorable business and investment conditions have been established in the industrial parks, with residents being provided with ready-to-use infrastructure financed by the state, as well as benefiting from tax, customs, and other incentives.

The guests were also informed that extensive opportunities have been created for the export of products manufactured in the industrial zones to international markets alongside meeting domestic demand, and that these products are currently exported to various countries around the world.

The delegation also visited Caspian Lubricants LLC, a resident of the industrial park. It should be noted that Bulgarian investors are among the founders of the enterprise.

The guests were provided with detailed information about the company’s production process, applied technologies, production capacity, and product range.
