Supervisory Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency holds meeting
30 December,2025 09:06

A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency was held, during which the work carried out by the Agency and issues planned for 2026 were discussed.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli. During the meeting, Chairman of the Agency’s Management Board, Seymur Adigozalov, provided information on the work carried out and projects implemented in 2025 in the industrial zones managed by the Agency, including industrial parks operating in the liberated territories.

It was noted that industrial zones serve as an effective mechanism for increasing domestic production, substituting imports, and creating new export opportunities. A significant share of Azerbaijan’s non-oil and non-gas production and exports is generated within industrial zones. The favorable conditions created by the state in these zones, along with the incentives offered, contribute to the expansion of entrepreneurial activity.

As part of the meeting, the Agency’s priority development directions for 2026 were identified, and organizational and structural issues were discussed.
