During the first quarter of 2026, production volume in the industrial zones managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency increased by 12.2% compared to the same period last year.

Residents of the industrial zones managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy produced goods worth AZN 883 million in the first quarter of this year. This represents an increase of 12.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

A favorable business and investment environment has been created for residents of the industrial zones. In order to encourage investment activity, residents of industrial parks benefit from a number of significant tax incentives for a period of 10 years from the date of registration. Specifically, they are exempt from property, land, and profit taxes. In addition, machinery, technological equipment, and installations imported for production purposes are exempt from VAT and customs duties for a period of 10 years. This creates additional opportunities for optimizing investment costs and expanding production.
