Production in the Mingachevir Industrial Park increased by more than 77%, while exports grew by over 78% in the first quarter of 2026.
In the first quarter of 2026, goods worth AZN 19.3 million were produced at the Mingachevir Industrial Park, which operates under the management of the Economic Zones Development Agency subordinated to the Ministry of Economy. This is an increase of more than 77% compared to the same period last year. While products worth AZN 7.4 million were exported from the Industrial Park in the first quarter of the previous year, this figure increased by more than 78% to reach AZN 13.2 million during the corresponding period of this year.
A total of AZN 159 million has been invested in the development works carried out in the Industrial Park, and 550 permanent jobs have been created.
It should be noted that the Mingachevir Industrial Park was established by the Presidential Decree dated February 26, 2015. The Industrial Park specializes in the textile industry and brings together enterprises engaged in cotton processing, yarn production, and fabric manufacturing.
