Asaf Safarali oglu Nasibov was born on February 25, 1994 in the village of Gaymagli, Gazakh district, in a hard-working family, and received secondary education in that village.

In 2011-2015, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He completed active military service in 2015-2016 and participated in the April 2016 battles. In November 2018, he worked as a specialist and chief specialist at "Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park" LLC which is under the Ministry of Economy. Asaf Nasibov, who volunteered to go to the front, was called up for military service in the first days of the Patriotic War. Asaf Nasibov, who is a clear example of the commitment of Azerbaijani youth to his nation, state and land, and who is an example to future generations with his patriotism, participated in the battles for the liberation of Jabrayil, Gubadli and Lachin regions from occupation, and was heroically martyred in the battles in the direction of Gubadli-Lachin on October 29. The grave of Asaf Nasibov is located in the Gaymagli village cemetery, where he was born and grew up.

Asaf Nasibov was awarded the following medals by the relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his courage and bravery in battles:
