A delegation led by the Minister of Economy of the Sultanate of Oman, Said Mohammed Ahmed Al Sagri, visited the Sumgayit Industrial Park today.

The meeting held within the framework of the visit was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samad Bashirli, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency Emil Hajiyev, as well as heads of the Agency’s relevant structural divisions.

During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on the activities of Azerbaijan’s industrial zones, the modern infrastructure established for investors, as well as the state support mechanisms and incentives available to residents. The guests’ questions were addressed in detail.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured the production facilities of “AzerFloat” CJSC, a resident of the Sumgayit Industrial Park, and reviewed the company’s manufacturing processes and technological capabilities on site.
