On September 25, the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) Executive Director Tobias Baumann and a delegation of German businessmen visited Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park.

During the meeting Nazim Talibov, director of Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park LLC, provided the guests with information on industrial parks created in accordance with the industrialization policy implemented in our country to give new impetus to the development of competitive industry based on innovative and high technologies, ensure sustainable development of the non-oil sector and increase employment in the manufacturing sector, as well as informed them about favorable conditions created in these industrial parks for entrepreneurs, modern infrastructure, the services provided for residents, and the benefits applied. 

In addition, businessmen were informed about the residents of the Sumgait Chemical, Mingachevir, Garadagh and Pirallahi industrial parks and products. The presentation of industrial parks was held at the meeting.

Attending the meeting representatives of German companies who operate in various industries in Germany spoke about their activities and opportunities for cooperation.

Finally, prospects for investing in industrial parks were discussed, as well as exchange of views were held.

Then the guests became acquainted with the work implemented in Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, the production process in polypropylene and high-density polyethylene enterprises of SOCAR Polymer LLC, as well as the Cable Plant and the Mechanical Processing Plant of STP LLC which are the residents of the Park.
